How did you, as a child of God, become subject to State statutes?
There is only one Source of power. There is only one Source of authority and that is from the Heavenly Father. All other authorities are imaginary - they are imagi-NATIONS.
We wake up today and what do we find? The whole world is divided into nations. And inside those nations are hundreds of offices created out of the imagi-NATIONS of men. These offices are designed to license, regulate and control men. Those who hold these offices wield their power by making up laws and then compelling others to obey them.
We are going to be examining the flow of power in these offices. Who set them up? How do these offices gain control over us?
Let's start with a look at the Oregon Motor Vehicle Code. Hundreds of offenses are listed. One thing they have in common is a "person" commits the offenses.
A person commits the offense of failure to carry a license if the person . . . (ORS 807.570)
A person commits the offense of failure to register a vehicle if the person . . . (ORS 803.300)
A person commits the offense of driving uninsured if the person . . . . (ORS 806.010)
Since only "persons" commit these State-created crimes, how do you become a "person" and subject to State statutes? You become a State-generated "person" by taking up residency with the State and stepping into the office of person.
The most common office held in the State is the "office of person." It is an office most people fill without even knowing it. The State created this office as a way to control people. They cannot control you just because you are a man or a woman. Why? Because God beat them to it. God created you and by right of creation He owns you.
The way the State gets around God's control is by creating an office, such as "person," and then claiming that you are filling that office. You must hold an office within their government in order for them to regulate you. First comes the office, then comes the control.
It is the nature of law, that what one creates, one controls. Law is the force that binds a creature to its creator. God created us and we are subject to His laws, whether or not we acknowledge Him as our Creator. Scripture tells us there is only one Lawgiver and Judge (James 4:12).
Legislators, in mischief, think that they can play God and make laws, too. They create whole bodies of law, motor vehicle code, building code, compulsory education laws. And then they create supporting institutions to administer these regulations.
Within these organizations are hundreds of state-generated offices from clerk to governor. But these organizations cannot function properly unless they have subjects to regulate. The legislature obtains these subjects by creating an office that nobody even realizes is a State office. They create the office of "person."
A look at Webster's dictionary reveals the origin of the word, "person." It literally means "the mask an actor wears." That's its original meaning. What is the purpose of a mask? It is a covering for the face to conceal or disguise one's true character or identity. Ancient Greek and Roman actors wore masks on stage to identify a particular character. A mask is a falseface.
What is an actor? It is the warm-blooded creature behind the mask. The mask was created by man. The actor was created by God. The actor without a mask is directly accountable to his Creator, God. But if an actor puts on a mask created by man, he is directed and controlled by the mask. Whatever the mask is required to do in the "play," the actor must do because he is behind the mask. The mask cannot do it on its own. The mask needs an actor.
The legislature creates the office of "person" which is a mask. They don't create real people, only God can do that. But they create the office of "person," which is a mask. Then they persuade a flesh and blood man or woman to put on the mask. Now the legislature controls the mask and the actor behind the mask.
All State residents hold an office in the State government. The most popular office is "person." But not everyone who is a resident holds the office of "person." Some residents hold the office of police officer. Some are called "judge." Their role is determined by the mask they wear.
When these bureaucrats put on the mask of their office, they can take your money. They can throw you in prison. They can seize your land and sell it out from under you. They can do all kinds of heinous acts. How do they get away with it? As long as they wear the mask of their office, it provides a covering for their wickedness.
The reason all State residents hold an office is so the State can control everything. The State must mandatorily control anything that it wants to manipulate. The State is so deeply involved in controlling everything, that it even tries to control those who belong to God. That is its nature. The State is in competition with God.
Do you think you are a free man? They tell us, "all men are free." What they don't say is that by holding a State office, a free man becomes a slave to the State.
The State is ever ready to entice us into the office of "person." Once we step into that office, we cease to be free men under God. We are regulated creatures, created by the legislature. We hear about "free men," but we never hear about "free persons."
If you build your house on an office created by men, it will be built on sand. The office is changed and manipulated to conform to the whims of men. When you hold the office of "person," created by the legislature, your office isn't fixed. Your duties and responsibilities are ever changing. Each legislative session binds a "person" to more burdens and requirements.
If you look in the Bible, Jesus has set up various offices under the covering of the Kingdom of Heaven. "For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office" (Romans 12:4).
These offices are for citizens of Heaven. When we fill these offices, we leave no room for crafty men to convince us to jump into the offices that they have set up. Look at Ephesians 4:11-14:
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.
To establish a proper foundation, you want to hold an office that is built upon Christ, our Rock. In the office of ambassador of the Lord Jesus Christ, your office is fixed (see 2 Corinthians 5:20). You know what Jesus Christ expects from you. Christ doesn't change that office. The requirement is simple, live in righteousness. Love God and do to others what you would like done to you. Because that office is unchanging, the foundation is like a rock and the burdens are light.
Don't be deceived into taking up residency with the States. Take up your residency in the Kingdom of Heaven. Find out what your gifts are and use them in Christ's Kingdom.
Where does the flow of authority come from? Let's look at John 15:4-6, "Abide in me, and I in you." Does it say, "Abide in the State and the State in you?" No! It says Abide in me. Abide in Christ.
"As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing" (John 15:4,5).
That means if you start filling those State offices, you are abiding in the State and are cut off from the vine of Christ. Apart from Him, you can do nothing. You have no life.
"If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned" (John 15:6).
The State has kicked out Jesus Christ. Any of the offices they have created are part of a vine that does not receive its life from Jesus. All the branches on the State's vine will wither and die.
Return to the True Authority. Let Jesus Christ and His Kingdom be your covering. Why should we perform for them! "Repent!" Take off that mask. Quit being a "person" beholding to their decrees. "For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us" (Isaiah 33:22).
When you remove the mask, you become directly accountable to God. Take up your office in the Kingdom of Heaven. Let's fill the offices that Jesus created and do the works of God.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

The pessimist in Africa wrote back, "I'm coming back home. Nobody wears shoes here."
The optimist in South America wrote back, "Nobody wears shoes here. Send me some help."
One reason the kingdoms of the world are in such a mess is that they do not have a religious test for office holders. The U.S. Constitution specifically says there shall be no religious test.
The senators and representatives beforementioned, and the members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States. Article 6, paragraph 3.
Why no religious test? Because they do not want righteousness.
What religious test am I referring to? It is at 1 John 4:1-3:
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
This is our command to have a religious test.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
But the United States of America wants no religious test. They don't want to prove all things. They do not want to see that Jesus Christ is represented.
Consequently, all these State offices have been created with no religious test required. Neither the office nor the office holder needs to be Godly.
I believe that if there were a religious test, then maybe we would have a Christian nation. There is at least a possibility. If every official were required to confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, then they would obey Him. They would start serving one another instead of lording over others. (See Luke 22:25-30)
Fred is excited because the new governor is a born-again Christian. "Now we have an opportunity to really change the State for the better," Fred said.
I think Fred is assuming that because the man holding the office of governor is a professed Christian, that somehow the State is going to become more Christian.
It doesn't work that way, Fred. I wish it did. Just because a Christian fills an office, does not make that office Christian. It does not matter what the governor professes. As soon as he puts on the mask of governor, the duties of his office control his actions. He must act in behalf of the State, not in behalf of Jesus Christ.
How many times have you heard someone say, "Let's get Christians back in government. Let's vote in the Christians. Let's fill the legislature with Christians. Let's get back to a Christian nation once again."
Sorry folks, it doesn't work that way. Again, it does not matter what a particular candidate professes. It is immaterial. Whoever fills the office, must perform as the office prescribes.
Let's take the case of a melodrama. I write the play. I create roles for the actors. The first role is that of a terrible villain. The second role is that of a lady in distress. Then I select actors to fill these roles.
Now I just might pick a professing born-again Christian to fill the role of the nasty villain who captures the lady and ties her to the railroad tracks. I don't care how much that actor professes Jesus Christ. He still must conform himself to the role of the mean villain.
The same is true for all the offices in the State. If every state office were filled by professing Christians, the country would not move one step closer to being a Christian nation. It is the offices themselves that must be changed. The character of the office has to be rewritten. The duties and responsibilities must conform to the teachings of Jesus Christ. And only those who pass the religious test in 1 John, Chapter 4, could hold office.
A police officer is not required to take a religious test. The police officer must lie. It is part of his office. Not only must he lie, he must be willing to kill. He must be deceptive. He must treat others the way he would not like to be treated. If he had to pass a religious test, then he would have a conflict.
But the police officer holds his office without a religious test. His employer does not care if he is a Christian as long as he sets aside his Christian beliefs to perform the duties of his office as policemen. Lie. Kill. Do violence to his neighbor. That's part of his job description. He is only doing his job.
That's what the centurions did 2,000 years ago when they took part in the crucifixion of the Son of God. They had a duty. It didn't matter who the guy was that was hanging on the cross.
If you profess Christ and you try to fill a State office, you will have to choose whom you will serve. The State won't let you act in the name of Jesus Christ. Mercy and kindness are not part of their law. They don't want you serving one another in love. You must conform to the duties of your office, not to the teachings of Jesus.
Jesus wants us to conform to Him. He says, "Repent!" which means, "Quit the office you are in and be reconciled to God!" Take up an office with God.
Then go forth and evangelize. Tell people about the offices that are available in the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus wants to make all the nations of the world His footstool. That is the way of Christianity.
Show people the error of their ways. The errors of their offices. The errors of their agencies. Eventually these offices will close down if there is no one to fill them. When an office closes, the warm-blooded creature has to find another place to make his abode. Let's make that abode in Jesus Christ and get our life from the true vine.
The following letter was sent to David Justice after he appeared on John Bryant's radio program. David Justice is an Ambassador to the People of the United States, representing the Kingdom of Heaven.
David,
I heard you on John Bryant's program recently. How do you reconcile your successes and failures using the Kingdom of Heaven's passports, driver licenses, registration, plates, etc. when, I understand, the Church has had their real property confiscated/seized by government, the occupants evicted and not permitted to enter, Pastor Paul Revere's motor home also seized, and many other problems with the government?
Steve
Dear Steve,
How do I reconcile losing stuff for the sake of the kingdom? You, who claim to represent the truth, have to ask? "Whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Matthew 16:26).
I consider it an honor to have also lost property in this fight; a Jeep CJ7 which was once my pride and joy, but not such that it exceeded my love for the kingdom of Heaven. What are you willing to lose for the sake of the kingdom? The loss of the Jeep has opened more doors than you can imagine. Yes, I could have sued to get it back. I could have sued under title 42, but to what end? The battle will not be won by fighting them on their terms, but on the terms of our commander in chief. He suffered loss for the sake of the kingdom. Are we exempt?
Have you not read the scriptures? What war has ever been won without casualties? Are you not willing to fight for the sake of the kingdom because of concern about what you might lose?
Every warrior going into battle must count the cost; he may lose even his very life. We are at war. There will be losses. Paul and Rachel, whom I love and respect deeply for standing for nonviolence, as do I, consider losses for the kingdom of God, casualties of war. "We must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God" Acts 14:22.
Your question is like asking, "Is it possible to go to war without risk of injury?" Your measure of success in this battle against evil world government is an unreasonable standard. That you would even ask the question infers that you have yet to enter the kingdom, and are far from being prepared to fight for it.
Your question is filled with the fragrance of fear of losing your first love: your stuff; and if you are not prepared to lose your stuff for the kingdom, neither are you prepared to lose your life for the king. If you are not prepared to lose your life for the sake of the king, you are not prepared to live your life for his sake either. If the United States government drafted you to fight in a war, would you be prepared to lose everything you had? Why should allegiance to the kingdom require any less?
Your question regards not the truth in love, but rather infers the condition that you will only oppose tyranny if you can keep your stuff. "No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God" (Luke 9:62).

He's giving up all
To stand for the LORD
He expects nothing back
No earthly reward. He's standing for truth
He's standing alone
Hated by man
Despised by his own.Facing the cross
He knows what it brings
Through the pain and the tears
To Heaven he clings. When he made the choice
He knew what he'd lose
Now Christ is his crown
...Which road will you choose?
Census 2000 is for those who are residents with the world. What will you do when they come to count you among the nations? For those who have come out from among them, this question is of utmost importance. We have been commanded not to be counted with the nations.
Lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
Numbers 23:9
God sent a plague because David numbered the people:
And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number the people . . . And God was displeased with this thing; therefore he smote Israel.
1 Chronicles 21:1,7
If you get a form, don't open it. If you opened it, reseal it. On the front, write, "No residents at this address." Send it back.
We're of the Kingdom of Heaven, not residents with them. If they call, say, "There is no one here to answer your questions." If they try to make further conversation, repeat, "I'm sorry, there is no one here to answer your questions."
Information is power. Jesus keeps track of His own. Keep the power with Him.
Preacher:
I'm very upset with my wife of fourteen years. We have three children from ages eight to thirteen. She has been having an affair and has decided to leave us.
I wanted to get even with the adulterers. I did a search on the Internet for "getting even" and I ended up at your page, EmbassyOfHeaven.com. Praise God!
Thank you so much. I know the Lord wants me to step back and be strong for the children and not waste my energies in anger and hate. All Glory and honor to Him. Amen!

Have you ever observed the grizzly bear feeding area at Yellowstone Park? The park ranger dumps garbage into a clearing and it isn't long before a grizzly bear arrives. Soon he is joined by the one animal he allows to eat with him - a skunk. The grizzly is one of the strongest animals in the West and could easily win in any fight with a skunk. Yet the grizzly leaves the skunk alone. Surely the grizzly resents the skunk and yearns to get even with him for his brazen impudence. But he doesn't. Why? Because he knows there is a high cost in getting even.
Smart grizzly! Certainly much smarter than many human beings who spend weary days and sleepless nights brooding over their resentments and trying to hatch ways to squelch someone. Man doesn't seem to learn that the high cost of getting even may be ulcers, colitis, toxic goiter, strokes or even fatal heart attacks.
The moment I start hating a man, I become his slave. I cannot enjoy working any more because he even controls my thoughts. My resentments produce too many stress hormones in my body and I become fatigued after only a few hours of work. The work I formerly enjoyed is now drudgery. Even vacations cease to give me pleasure. I may drive a new, luxurious car along a lake fringed with the autumn beauty of maple, oak and birch. But as far as my experience of pleasure is concerned, I might as well be driving a wagon in mud and rain.
The man I hate hounds me wherever I go. I cannot escape his tyrannical grasp on my mind. When the waiter serves porterhouse steak with a baked potato, asparagus, green salad and strawberry shortcake smothered with ice cream, it might as well be stale bread and water. My teeth chew the food and I swallow it, but the man I hate will not permit me to enjoy it.
King Solomon must have had a similar experience, for he wrote; "Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith" (Proverbs 15:17).
The man I hate may be many miles from my bedroom; but more cruel than any slave driver. He whips my thoughts into such a frenzy that my innerspring mattress becomes a rack of torture. The lowliest of the serfs can sleep, but not I. I really must acknowledge the fact that I am a slave to every man on whom I pour the vials of my wrath.
The most common way people get even with others is by talking about them. But running people down does not keep us free from a host of diseases of body and mind. The verbal expression of animosity toward others calls forth certain hormones from the pituitary, adrenal, thyroid, and other glands. An excess of these hormones can cause disease in any part of the body. Many diseases can develop when we fatten our grudges by rehearsing them in the presence of others.
Man can fill every moment with thoughts that fume like nitric acid and corrode as deeply. Are human beings more stupid than grizzly bears? Or is man controlled far more than he realizes by an inner evil force?
I think Jesus gave the answer when James and John wanted Him to call down fire on a Samaritan village because the Samaritans would not give them lodging. These disciples were believers and followers of Jesus. Yet, these Christians, smarting from the sting of racial discrimination, were so full of carnality that they besought the Lord to call down fire on the village. The Lord rebuked them by saying, "Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of" (Luke 9:55).
Before Pentecost, Peter also had an innate evil spirit. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Peter, with fiery vengeance, tried to cut off the head of one of the opposition party. He wasn't the first or the last carnal theologian who has retaliated by cutting off heads.
A complete transformation occurred in James, John and Peter after they crucified self and were filled with the Holy Spirit. The old spirit of getting even was replaced by the Holy Spirit of Christ who, when He was reviled, reviled not again.
The seventh chapter of Acts describes how Stephen, "being full of the Holy Spirit," reacted when he was stoned. Stoning was a horrible and painful way to kill a man, but Stephen was devoid of the spirit of revenge. Bleeding and bruised, he summoned his last bit of energy to get on his knees and pray, "Lord, lay not this sin to their charge" (Acts 7:60).
How many of us, stoned by a vicious mob, would be primarily interested in praying with our last breath for their spiritual welfare?
Failure to possess His Spirit will make us susceptible to many diseases of body and mind. When we are shamefully wronged by someone, we cannot resist the temptation to get even. And paying the price of getting even means losing a pound of our own flesh.
Christ can crucify the carnal spirit if we drive the spikes into everything in our lives that He marks for destruction. Then we are candidates for His baptism with the Holy Spirit.
Paul, who was convinced as he witnessed the stoning of Stephen and heard his prayer, outlines the steps toward getting rid of the disease-producing spirit of retaliation:
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; . . . . In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. But now ye also put off all of these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. . . . Put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: . . . . Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Colossians 3:5, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14
One may ask, "Isn't it foolish to give up our rights?" Perhaps it is not foolish, since in giving up our rights, we insure our health and happiness. In giving the other fellow a "piece of our mind," we always lose our "peace of heart."
To the natural man, it is unthinkable that he should give in when he is right. He refuses to sacrifice his pride, but in so doing, he sacrifices his health. Not too intelligent a transaction.
It is the spirit of retaliation that calls forth glandular toxins, and man suffers from his strong sense of self-expression and self-pity. If one takes time to analyze the cause of faulty adaptation to life's difficulties, one will often discover a little four-letter word - self. Stress and disease result because of our unwillingness to sacrifice the big "I."
All of us are subjected to many, many stress factors in our daily lives, but that does not mean we have to develop inner stress with its resultant toxic chemicals and diseases. Our reactions to stress determine whether stress will make us "better or bitter."
Apostle Paul, after listing many stress agents that assail mankind, gives the divine secret,
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."
Romans 8:35-37
Here is the Scriptural secret for victorious adaption to life's insults. At the beginning of each day, consider yourself a sheep that is going to be abused even to the extreme of being slaughtered. If you take that attitude of mind, then nothing that comes up should frustrate or disturb you.
There is a big difference between the individual who is seeking great things for himself and the one whose energies are devoted to God's Kingdom. In the world of business, the individual who is self-employed has only his own resources to fall back upon when he meets trouble. But the man who is a vital part of a large corporation, has all the resources of a billion-dollar company. Hence, he has a sense of security in knowing that, regardless of what happens, he does not have to worry.
Doesn't it go without saying that the man or woman who is faithfully devoting his energies to a corporation that owns the cattle on a thousand hills, the oil in a million wells, and the silver, gold, and jewels in a billion solar systems, has a sense of security and freedom from frustration and disease that nothing in the world can ever give?
Jesus said something that few people took seriously because it was as high above our earthly thinking as the heavens are above the earth. He said, ". . . the meek . . . shall inherit the earth" (Matthew 5:5).
We can believe that the meek will inherit heaven when they die, but Jesus was trying to tell us that the meek are going to inherit the earth here and now. Study the meek people you know, and you will discover that they are actually coming into possession of everything that is worthwhile on this earth.
With a little reflection, you can understand why the meek inherit the earth. They have been thoughtful and considerate of your interests, they have been slow to talk about their great accomplishments and quick to congratulate you on your minor achievements. Down through the years they have always laughed at your "corny" jokes. Yes, you will gladly give them what you possess. The earth belongs to them.
Big Bill Brandon was a very likable fellow - when he didn't "go off at the handle." When one of his men at the plant messed up an assignment, Bill would get furious and throw at him the sharpest epithets in his voluminous, but unprintable, vocabulary. But the abuse he hurled at the other fellow always seemed to boomerang on poor Bill.
After one of these outbursts, Bill would start vomiting for weeks at a time. His trouble was always brought on by anger, which tightened the outlet of his stomach and caused the intractable vomiting. The occurrences were so frequent and severe that Bill was having a hard time working enough to support his family.
Only a doctor can fully appreciate the amazingly large percentage of human disease and suffering which is directly traceable to worry, fear, conflict, immorality, dissipation, and ignorance. Christ taught a life of mental peace and joy, unselfishness and clean living. If mankind would sincerely put into practice these teachings, more than half the difficulties, diseases and sorrows of the human race would be wiped out.
Laying aside all discussion of future life, it would pay any man or woman to live the Christ-life just for the mental and moral rewards it affords here in this present world. Someday, man may awaken to the fact that the teachings of Christ are potent and powerful in preventing and curing disease.
"Do good to them that hate you" (Matthew 5:44). Impossible? Try doing something good for your enemy and it will surprise you to find how much easier it is to love him. This is the Scripturally sound method of changing our feelings.
"Love your enemies, do good to them that hate you." That may be a very bitter tonic to swallow, but you will discover that when it reaches the heart, it will be surprisingly invigorating and exhilarating. By doing good, you can change hate to love.
Obedience to the Lord in loving others, even the unlovely, will save you from a host of debilitating and serious diseases. Only when such love exists between individuals, between races, and between nations, is there any hope for the world.
From the book, "None of These Diseases" by S.I. McMillen, M.D., published by Fleming H. Revell Company, 1963.
